To help you stay off the front, the Stratics Ergo bars have a sleek aero shape, to minimize surface area,  and are compliant with the UCI 3:1 technical requirement.  Your cables are recessed into the bottom of the bar to keep them out of the wind, and are also very easy to route.  But that is just the start.

The Stratics bars are narrower at the hoods by a couple of centimeters than the drops, which enhances your ability to keep your shoulders in a more aerodynamic profile.   Directly behind the hoods the Stratics Ergo's feature a big platform that supports your palm when you are loping along or climbing.  

Speaking of climbing, the Stratics Ergo bars kick butt!  Those two semi-circles at the back of the bar on either side of the stem?  They are worth the price of admission if you live in the mountains!  By dropping your thumbs into them, the kink or angle in your wrist (and ulnar nerve pressure) disappears!  The modest back sweep helps you hold a good posture for climbing, letting you keep your back and shoulders relaxed. 

When it is time to hammer in drops, the Stratics Ergo's feature a full-size curve, but the truncated shape at the front of the bar shortens the reach to the brake levers for less hand fatigue on long descents.  The rearward extensions feature a nicely curved palm support, awesome on those days where the wind is always on your nose.  That extra hand position is just another advantage to keep you in a more aero position when you need it the most!

We recommend Fat Wrap for use with the Stratics and ALL brands of carbon bars as it cushions, is durable and is adhesive free. This makes re-wrapping or removal a very simple and quick process, and you don't need to scrape or use chemicals to get residue off which can quickly damage carbon bars. Only use adhesive free bar wrap with these carbon bars.

DO NOT CLAMP OR ATTACH LIGHTS, COMPUTERS, OR OTHER LIGHT WEIGHT ITMES DIRECTLY ON THE BAR, USE A BASE TAPE LAYER UNDER THE BRACKET.    DO NOT CLAMP ANYTHING OVER 40 GRAMS IN WEIGHT ON THE BARS, SUCH AS CLIP -ON AREO BARS  

USE TORQUE PASTE ( CARBON PASTE) ON  BOTH THE STEM AND SHIFTER CLAMPING AREAS DURING ASSEMBLY.  

PLEASE NOTE: THERE IS A 200 POUND RIDER WEIGHT LIMIT ON THIS HANDLEBAR.    

NOTE;  Do not use with stems that use clamping sections on the front that are less than 10 mm in width.  

NOTE:  made sure all surfaces that contact the bar are smooth and without sharp edges.  Use emery cloth or a deburring tool to radius all stem edges before inserting handlebar into your stem, AND on the shifter clamps.  Torque shifter clamps to 5 nm.  

This handlebar is on clearance,  without any warranty, with the exception of a visible defect on bars that have not been installed. 

With all bars, carbon or alloy, we recommend replacing them every 3 years, or 20,,000 miles.
