The Carbon series deliver all your power, without annoying rock, and excellent ease of use.  While many pedals look similar to the Stratics, if you want all-pro performance, the Stratics delivers!

• Only 122 g. per pedal delivers best in class weight with a steel spindle.  If this is too heavy, check out the 98 g. ti version!   
• Big - the Carbon's feature a 66 mm wide contact area for excellent pressure distribution
• Sampson developed our No-Rock dimpled top surface in 2008 to eliminate foot rocking, so you obtain full power, and a secure feel
• Full width polished steel top plate (versus aluminum) improves the Stratics lateral rigidity and enhances longevity as the hard steel is cut and abrasion resistant.
• The Stratics uses Toray Japan's injectable carbon resin, for the carbon body, not a glass "composite", so you have higher strength, stiffness and lower weight. 
• The Carbon Pro features CNC finished Cro-Mo spindles, which are chrome plated. These are encased by a silky-smooth sealed bearing system that requires very little maintenance. 
• Low spindle center to top height of just 9.8 mm keeps you closer to the axle for your best performance 
• Sampson's "Almost Automatic" entry is thanks to the Stratics' rear cam - that effortlessly guides your foot into the pedal. 
• Micro-adjustable tension delivers your perfect release feel, with steel springs adding a wide range of consistent performance without the need to change carbon plates --or anything! 
• Comes with one set of 9 degree rotational cleats that feature co-molded walking pads and hardware.  Fits all standard shoes with 3-hole drilling.  NOTE: Pedals can be used with Look Keo style cleats.  

Care and use:  Check to make sure your pedals and cleats are clean and free of any foreign material before each ride.  Check to make sure your cleat bolts are tight and the cleats are not damaged or severely worn before each ride.  Wash your pedals and cleats when dirty using a soap and water and a brush, and lubricate the hinge pivots every 250 miles or 90 days.
