SAMPSON SPORTS STRATICS TT & AERO EQUIPMENT
There is little debate that aero equipment helps win races. The only surprise remains that most people don't realize that 98% of the time savings doesn't come from the aero shapes of the frames, or the components! The majority of the extra speed is the result of getting the riders into an optimal position! Sampson's new TT equipment is designed to get you winning races by getting you into a great position with equipment that is fast, adjustable and light! With a recent victory at the Australian Long Course Championships and a 3rd at IM China, the TT equipment is already providing big-league results!
Stratics TT groups: The new TT group is comprised of the specialty equipment described below, along with a Stratics stem, s3 titanium pedals, Stratics front and rear derailleur, brakes, and a DA 10 shifter and cassette, and a Sampson/KMC chain, all you need to add is your frame and wheels! The 3235 g. package will let you turn most upper-end frames and wheels into a 15.5 - 16 pound superbike! Priced at just $2,199, the full Stratics TT package saves you a few hundred dollars versus buying the components individually. The TT packages are now shipping so see your dealer or give us a call!
STRATICS TT BARS
The new Stratics TT bars are finally in full production. After a full year of racing and development, these carbon wonders come to market with new details and features that make them unbeatable! Super light at just 740 g,, the new Stratics bars offer superior stiffness and adjustability so you can set new PR's this year too! Check out these features:
- Base bar has stealth fighter aero-shaping, but offers a super-stiff design for climbing power when on the horns or pulling hard on the extensions
- Extensions are available in low-rise or ski tip style and offer 50 mm fore-aft adjustment, and unlimited rotational adjustment with a simple collet system
- Extensions feature full ergo shaping at ends to keep your hands open and relaxed-an awesome feature once you hit mile 60!
- Full alloy arm rests are stiff to provide superior steering input, keep forearms from rolling off the supports. Armrests are also super adjustable for width, angle and fore-aft position. Riding a precise line can shave MIILES off a 112 mi. IM event!
- All cable routing is internal for better aerodynamics, crisp looks. Cable routing is easy too!
- Textured grip surface is behind the brake and shifter area and is part of the finish
- Bars use a standard 31.8 diameter stem for easy fitting for height and reach
- Priced at just $699, the Stratics bars are the new standard for serious speed demons!
STRATICS AERO BRAKE LEVERS
Overbuilt. Yep, we overbuilt the Stratics TT levers. They only weigh 65 g. each, but we could have put a stiletto like carbon lever on them and shaved 8 grams or so. But, you wouldn’t get the cold-forged durability or the individually shaped right and left hand levers that are a joy to ride. Not to mention that if the bike takes a little spill, those little carbon slivers are probably not going to be sticking around enough for your to finish a ride! While most don’t give much thought to a little product like levers, the first time you use these you will appreciate Sampson's obsessive attention to detail! Super strong cold-forged levers are light, shaped for both r and l hand for a perfect feel.
- Strong return springs eliminate rattles and improve brake return—great where internal cable routings tend to restrict cable function
- Covered top cap feels great when climbing and smooths over the edges for improved aerodynamics
- At just 65 g. each the Stratics levers remain one of the lightest levers available
- Easy mounting with a 4 mm hex, and standard cables and housings
- Exceptional value at just $49 a pair
STRATICS TT SADDLE
Just as aero equipment can help win races, taking weight off your bike can help too! While carbon shell saddles have been used by the pros for years, not many can take the non-padded discomfort, not to mention the big price tag! The new Stratics tt saddle is a race day saddle, but with vastly improved comfort, a huge weight reduction over most saddles, and a price that keeps it as a realistic performance enhancer !
- 110 g. total weight thanks to the full carbon shell and rails
- High density closed cell foam inserts provide support and cushioning on contact zones
- Pads are washable and replaceable (about $20 for a new pad set)
