The Stratics group starts with a race-proven Stratics carbon crank mated to our silky smooth oversized Isis style ti bb -with 3 fully sealed oversized cartridge bearings! You still get the great Stratics 10 speed shifters with Intuishift ergonomics, and the smooth and fast Stratics derailleurs! The Stratics brakes deliver top power and our new grey brake pad compound bring the Stratics already very good modulation up to great! Stratics brakes were rated highly in VeloNews brake tests-and these are even better ! With the group we include a Shimano 105 10 speed cassette and matching chain, for smooth and fast shifting with great durability too! The whole shebang comes in about 2249 g. --still really light-- and at just $1299, you get top of the market performance with excellent strength and low maintenence! While our shifters have made a lot of new fans, we are also offering our Stratics groups with Shimano 105 or Ultegra shifters as well. The 105 shifter adds $149 to the group price, the Ultegra carbon shifter adds $209. All the Sampson shifters and derailleurs are designed to be cross-utilized with Shimano 10 speed road equipment. |
