Ok, well admit it-with a Sampson derailleur you can't hardly feel a thing-and that's exactly the difference you get to feel every ride! The Stratics rear mech (as they like to call derailleurs in some parts of the globe) is light, fast shifting, and great looking with a carbon wrapped link and mirror polished pivots!
Ditto the Showtime, with a full alloy pivot bolt, and fully alloy body that is buffed and then buffed some more! Forget all that. They simply ride so smoothly, you'll hardly feel them working!
The Stratics secret is 2 CNC machined jockey wheels that literally glide on sealed cartridge bearings. Our cartridge bearings are so good that they will quite likely be smoother than many of the ceramics being tossed about, but they have the advantage of being sealed-so they start smooth and stay smooth!
For the Showtime, the smooth action of the design, combined with the 2 big nylon jockey wheels lets the chain spin effortlessly.

The Stratics and Showtime front derailleurs both feature a wider 2 point pivot attachment for improved rigidity, which gives you a faster shift under load. Combined with the full steel cage for excellent stiffness, the new Sampson front derailleurs will pop a chain on under load typically a lot faster than lighter weight cages made from aluminum or even titanium.
The Stratics front derailleur features machined relief and a black pivot support, while the Showtime front derailleur features a machine polished silver pivot and steel cage.
Showtime triple front derailleurs feature an extended inner cage to provide clean, fast shifts onto a 28-34 t inner ring!
